HAIR TRANSPLANT PROCEDURES

Manual FUE Transplant
The technique called FUE or Follicular Unit Extraction involves making small incisions – usually less than 1 mm – on the scalp with a dermatologic punch made to extract follicular units throughout the donor area and avoiding the use of sutures, with less pain and faster recovery.
Robotic FUE Transplant
The ARTAS system was created by a large group of hair transplant surgeons, robotic engineers, and clinical experts, using a system of computer-assisted scalp images that allows the surgeon and patient together to select the most viable, strongest and healthiest hair with specific characteristics to be removed robotically.
FUT Transplant
For many years, the only available technique required removing a scalp-strip from the posterior region of the head. This strip was then divided into small grafts under optical magnification and transplanted into the recipient area.

Hair Transplant
A hair transplant is a procedure that involves transplanting hair follicles from one area of the head (called the “donor area”) to the thinning area (the “recipient area”). Healthy full-size vigorously growing follicles are moved from the donor scalp to thinning areas to increase the density of growing hair.
