The FUE technique (Follicular Unit Extraction) or Extraction of Follicular Units is performed by making small incisions, usually smaller than 1 mm, in the scalp with a dermatological punch. The use of sutures is unnecessary since it’s done diffusely throughout the scalp. The procedure is less painful and of rapid recovery.
