What is FUE and How Does It Work

FUE (Follicular Unit Excision) is precision meets artistry. Using a specialized dermatological punch—smaller than 1 mm—the physician meticulously isolates and extracts individual follicular units. These tiny, circular incisions ensure no visible scars, leaving the scalp virtually untouched.

Each follicular unit, containing 1 to 4 hairs, is carefully removed to preserve its integrity. But the magic doesn’t stop there. Once extracted, the real artistry begins as your grafts are prepared and brought to life.

Under powerful microscopes, HERO’s expertly trained technicians work with surgeon-level precision to prepare and maintain each follicular unit.
